Today may seem like a hard time for singing because money and good health are scarce these days. Many of us have lost good jobs and our cities look worn out. Families cant afford enough money anymore. So today I thought it might be good for us to sing a song together. It’s one that made me happy long ago. So please sing with me now and we may all feel better soon.

Unfortunately, recent years have been very difficult for everyone in our country. Our troubles began with the arrival of the deadly virus that spread invisibly and damaged –or killed– everyone who breathed it in. And after that, the closing of public businesses became common everywhere. Next, most of the people who no longer had jobs were unable to find new ones. And at the same time unhealthy older people became isolated in their homes, just waiting to die because they had no other choice. The last problems were divorced people who left their children feeling abandoned and themselves no longer able to pay for their homes or take good care of their kids. Sow, in many different ways our country became much weaker than it was before.

But now, it looks like God and our scientists have found a way to save our country. Good health is now on its way to save us because a strong and safe vaccine has ben produced and will soon be given to all the people who need it. And it can be sold to others who can afford it.

Finally, when good times and decent jobs return to all of us, we will be strong and secure again. And the virus that has killed so many of our people will be controlled or completely removed from our country.

The only thing I see now as necessary is removing Donald Trump from our country. I’m certain he wount be able to lead any of our people after all the nonsense and danger he has thrown at us over several years. Without being forced, he should take his beliefs, money, and behavior too somewhere far away. And even if he may still have some strong abilities, they will never work in this country again after all the trouble he has caused. Instead, he must move on to some new place far away, where he will no longer be allowed to tell lyes or make trouble. But he may still be able to work and earn a modest salary if he works to become a good entertainer or a clown.

Unfortunately, many of us are now confused and frightened about what is happening outside. Our fears may cause some of us to buy into phony promises, or be distracted by them. But instead we should hold on to the positive things we experienced in the past and the good work of the new leaders we trust.

Good living is not money or power. It is behaving honestly and protecting the people we care about who may be at risk. And it is also refusing to except the self-serving falsehoods of Trump and his followers.

Although our country may be harder to live in now than what wee remember, we need to focus on the future and do our best to support the good workers now in charge. Although Trump is trying to regain power by telling lies and persuading his followers that he is still the wright leader for our country, most of us realize that he won’t be accepted as a leader here or anywhere else.

For a long time our country has ben highly respected by people living in other countries, and many thousands of them worked hard to join us. Because our country is no longer controlled by Trump, and we now have new leaders who seem good instead. I believe we will regain the respect we once had, and that we deserve all its benefits.

Since there is very little going on at my place these days, I watch television too often. And then it frightens me or makes me angry. I get upset because it looks like many people out there are refusing to take medication or ware masks today. I think thear decisions are dangerous for them and anyone else who happens to be nearby.

I don’t want to repeat any of the bad things I mentioned yesterday, or any new ones. I’m sure you all heard most of them on television or read about them in newspapers.

Probably, it would be better for me to sing, and you to do that with me. Remember that we sang together a while ago and enjoyed it. Why not? Nobody else will hear us singing. Below are two of my favorite songs that I wish I could send to you out loud so we would be singing together. But since I don’t now how to do that here. I’ll go with two of my favorites.

Yesterday, like many other people I stayed safe at home with nothing to do but watch television, take a nap, and have my thoughts. But today Ive chosen to wright about the last one because I strongly wanted to celebrate yesterday and wasn’t able to do that. So instead Ive decided to write to my friends who were also at home and unhappy about staying there all day. Not being able to be with our families or friends on that important holiday was a big disappointment.

Fortunately, many other people stayed at home yesterday because they were not the idiots who might cause death or illness too many other people. But they payed a large price by choosing not to enjoy the holiday which is still a big event in our country. And I felt we were all being punished, while many fools were enjoying parties with ther families and not waring masks. Although nobody was fined by the police, or regretted their misbehavior , many of them may soon be suffering with the virus and seeking hospitals that are already overcrowded. And unfortunately, doctors and nurses did not get the day off that they deserved.

In addition, I’m angry because so many people have never thought about the danger of diseases, ore there ability to spread them on to others. And it was Donald Trump who encouraged them to do wrong things to themselves. But I still find it hard to believe that all those people are stupid. I guess they’ve never looked at the numbers of deaths listed every day in newspapers and television. Apparently, many people do not consider health important to them or anyone else. Only pleasure and freedom appears to matter today.

At this point I’m still shocked by the number of people who have died recently, even though I knew non of them. I wanted the numbers to go down to zero. Still now I hope everyone reading this will try to persuade they’re friends who may be confused or careless about their health. We should all try to convince them to use face masks outside and stay out of any dangerous places. What I want is a good world for everyone who is still here and healthy.
